About us
Alam began with a nagging thought:
"This can't be the only way to be".That thought became a certainty when our little family navigated critical illness right after our firstborn arrived. Stepping out of the grind of everyday Singaporean life at that time made one thing clear for us - a cure can come from a prescription, but to be well requires breathing room.Alam is a Malay and Arabic word — world, realm, the environment that shapes our way of being. It felt like the right name.In its present form, Alam is a space to gather, make, tinker and play — or simply be — regardless of age. We curate the space and materials.The door is open.
We grew Alam from a feeling, but every space comes from somewhere. These are the realms, both real and imagined, that gave it structure:

| Space Bookings | Anyone hosting gatherings (birthdays, team bonding) to events (product launches, workshops). Our space adapts to what you need. Flexible furniture arrangements accommodate up to 20 pax seated (floor and table seating). We are registered with Vendors@Gov. | $100/hour. Minimum 2 hour bookings. Includes access to projector. For access to all materials, an additional $32/pax (first two hours) and $10/pax (subsequent hours) applies, with a minimum of 10 pax and an Alam team member present.
